Make Remote Learning Fun and Easy with ARTS:LIVE

The new remote learning packs on ARTS:LIVE have activities that are easy to share with students of different year levels, and have links to curriculum areas including physical activity, literacy, and numeracy. The packs include engaging bite-sized activities that will motivate students through music, visual arts, drama and dance.

You don’t need to be an Arts Learning expert to use ARTS:LIVE, as our digital platform has been developed by educators and provides everything you need to bring creative learning to life from home in Term 2. Teachers will find information on cross-curricular links clearly marked under each artform.

Below is just a snapshot of the activities on offer in ARTS:LIVE. Take a look to see how you can include these cross-curricular activities into your lesson plans.

Nature Shadows

This beautiful activity encourages students to bring nature into their art project even if they are in an apartment.

Students will learn to trace shadows and colour with ingredients found in the pantry or fridge. The activity connects to literacy and physical activity.

Home Stage and Dramatic Doors

Share the hilarious and clever videos by The Listies, then get students to create the excitement of the theatre in their own home.

This activity breaks down the dramatic process into achievable steps and it is likely to spark imagination, physical activity and the play making process.
